COVID-19 Update

Alert Level 2 - Open for face to face appointments!

We are following the Guidelines of the Ministry of Health and the New Zealand Physiotherapy Board to ensure we keep our patients and staff safe whilst providing a quality service.

We are now able to see you in the clinic for appointments and we ask for your support and understanding of our COVID policies which include screening questions prior to your appointment and on your arrival. We ask our patients to please wear a face mask and to call us to reschedule your appointment if you are feeling unwell.

At Level 2 Telehealth or video call consults are still available if you prefer.

Telehealth is a safe and secure platform where our physiotherapists can video call you to assess your injury and offer advice, prescribe an exercise programme or even arrange a referral onwards for Xray, Ultrasound or to see a specialist.

1.New Injuries or existing ACC Injuries the cost is mostly covered by ACC and Physio Flex will absorb the rest -there is no charge to the patient for this service.

2. ACC 45 Forms for new injuries can be completed with us at the consultation.

3. Consultations will be 20-40 minutes in length depending on the injury and whether this is a new injury or follow-up.

4. Appointments are booked via phone message 09 420 8899, email info@physioflex.co.nz, or message via Facebook.

5.All that is required is a phone, laptop or computer with a camera - no need to download an app. An email or text is sent with the link to the consultation – tap on the link and write your name and wait for the Physio to start the video consult - it's that easy!
